About Exelen
Exelen GmbH is a privately owned engineering company, founded in 2008 and based in Givisiez, in the canton of Fribourg.
Where we come from
Exelen started as a spin-off of research and development work on digital systems for avionics and on high-performance computing with FPGAs. Much of the early work was done together with research centres. Since then it has grown from FPGA and digital design to complete products: boards, firmware, radio modules, software and mechanics.
What we work for
A product that works, arrives on schedule and can be manufactured. We stay with a project from the first specification to series production, and we support it after delivery.
How we work
We are open about problems and mistakes and learn from them. We keep our commitments, and we say early when something is at risk.
Who we work with
Our customers work in aerospace, energy, industry and consumer products. For industrial design, materials, certification and production we rely on a network of partners.
